Job description
The Retail Data Collector role is responsible for collecting product information such as product mix, age, appearance, quantities, placement and out of stock at the retail level for one of our global confectionary clients. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, reliable and be able to work independently while being a part of a larger national team. Our Retail Data Collector will successfully use a smart device to transmit information gathered as part of a larger assessment ensuring the best consumer experience possible. Position is Monday-Friday, no weekends with flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Collect and record data in accordance with client requirements using a handheld device
- Plan and schedule retail visits daily; ensure compliance to set schedules
- Professionally represent SAS and the client at retailer
- Maintain active communication with supervisor
- Self-management of time
- Other analysis as assigned
Qualifications
- High school degree or GED or relevant experience required
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient usage of computer, phone, and related software applications
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision
- Engage in physical activity, including periods of standing, walking, bending and kneeling
- Be respectful and aware of retail environment. Adapt audit requirements against retail activity
- Work in retail environments susceptible to temperature changes
- Prior experience in retail a plus
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
