Conifer Park is looking for an Admission Registered Nurse to join our team here at our Inpatient facility in Glenville, NY. As the Admission RN you will assess physical, psychosocial, spiritual, self-care, environmental, equipment, learning, and discharge planning needs of patients and significant others as evidenced by;
- Performing admissions assessment of assigned patients to determine their needs.
- Triages for appropriate placement/admission and makes appropriate recommendation
- Recognizes and responds to pertinent diagnostic data and initiates appropriate action or intervention
- Competently uses equipment to gather data, e.g., breathalyzer, blood pressure cuff, electronic thermometer
- Communicates with patients, family and interdisciplinary team members to assess all needs and integrates all information available
- Contacts MD/PA to obtain orders for admission and documents appropriately
- Documents criteria met for admission
- Initiates Nursing cardex
Schedule Time: 2:00PM-10:30PM
Requirements:
Associates Degree- Current NYS RN Certification
- Current CPR Certification
- Experience conducting physical assessments
